A corset built over a French gobelin tapestry from the 1960s, acquired at auction.
The pastoral scene was not cut. The pattern was drawn around it, so the original composition remains whole across the front of the piece.
Internal structure with visible boning channels running vertically through the jacquard, supporting the body without altering the weave. Cotton lining. Black satin binding on the top edge and the scalloped hem, structured shoulder tabs and satin side ribbons for adjustment.
Fits XS, S and M through ribbon adjustment.
Dry clean only. Vintage jacquard must not be wet.
